Dorothy Ann Dover, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at the age of 90.Born on December 11, 1934, Dorothy grew up in Columbus and graduated from Linden McKinley High School. She went on to work as a talented seamstress for All-Rite Lettering, where she designed uniforms for local teams. At home, she poured the same love and creativity into making t-shirts and apparel for her children and grandchildren.A devoted sports fan, Dorothy cheered passionately for The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. She was equally known for her skill in the kitchen, where her comfort food always came with a personal touch. Her home was a gathering placealways warm, welcoming, and full of laughter. Friends and family alike knew they could find good food, good company, and open doors.Dorothy especially shone during the holidays, when she was truly the queen of Christmas. Her festive celebrations became cherished family traditions, filled with joy, decorations, and memories that will be treasured for generations.She will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, her love of family, and the way she made everyone feel at home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Dover; brothers, Raymond, Harold and Frank Thompson as well as her great0grandchild, Beau Daniel Anthony. Dorothy is survived by daughters, Tracey (Art) Kearnes, Cindi (Jeff) Aquillo and Amy (Brad) Kreuzer; grandchildren, Jaime (Mike) Diersing, Jenni (Phil) Lockard, Heather (Ryan) Anthony, Kristin (Brett) Boylan, Daniel (Emily) Kreuzer and Jake Kreuzer; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Gabby and Jacob Connor, Savannah and Bennett Lockard, Luke and Olivia Boylan and Rhett Anthony. As well as several nieces and nephews. There will be a private family service with burial at Blendon Central Cemetery. Donations may be made in Dorothy's name to Buckeye Cruise for Cancer at https://www.buckeyecruise.com/
