DOROTHY ANN DOYLE

DOYLE, Dorothy Ann (Oates) Of Weston, originally from Chestnut Hill, passed away on February 12, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Honorable Kevin R. Doyle. Devoted mother of Kristen Castree and her husband, Tim. Loving grandmother of Parker and Ben Castree. Dear sister of Clare Oates of Weston, Sister Mary Oates of Brighton, and the late Rev. Thomas Oates, the late Patricia Coates, and the late Eileen Latimer. She is also survived by many treasured nieces and nephews and their families. Dottie was a proud registered nurse at many area institutions, including Boston City and Long Island Hospitals, working in pediatrics and geriatrics. She loved road trips, the ocean, making her grandchildren laugh, and hearing people's stories. Her curiosity, unstoppable energy, and fierce love will be remembered always. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul's Church, 502 Washington Street, Wellesley, at 10 a.m., on Monday, February 23. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will be in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. The family would like to extend its sincere thanks for the compassionate, loving care extended to Dottie by the staffs at The Adelaide of Newton Centre and Brighton Hospice.
