Dorothy "Dottie" Fairbee

Dorothy "Dottie" Fairbee, 83, of Warren, OH passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025 at the Hospice House. She was born April 19, 1942 in Ravenna, OH, a daughter of the late Gus Mackey Sr.and the late Viola (Moore) Mackey.
She was a graduate of Rootstown High School, and worked many different jobs throughout her life. Dottie was known for her contagious smile, sense of humor and generosity. A devoted Cleveland Guardians fan, she also had a love for word games and her tea and honey.
Dottie will be remembered by her children, Renee (Ron) Ritchey of Mantua, OH; Jimmy (Liz) Fairbee of Garrettsville, OH; Christine (Paul) Heaton of Naples, FL; Kathryn (Robert) Holmes of Warren, OH and Amy (Rob) Hall of Lockhaven, PA, brother, Gus Mackey of Rootstown, OH, sister Regina Sweet as well as 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 4th 2025, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Nelson Community Center, 11639 Windham Parkman Road, Garrettsville, OH 44231.
