Nancy J. Kendall, 86, of Mogadore, passed away on January 24, 2026 due to Alzheimer's Disease complications. She was born on February 11, 1939 to Boyd and Ruth (McClay) Herwick in Akron, OH.

Nancy grew up in Rootstown and graduated from Rootstown High School where she was crowned the May Queen in 1957.

Through her brother, John, Nancy was introduced to a handsome football player named Albert Kendall. They fell in love and married on October 16, 1961. Their family grew to include two children, Lorie and John.

The family relocated to Ellet in Summit County where Nancy became a longtime member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church. In later years, she attended Grace Baptist Church.

Nancy worked for Ferriot Brother Plastics and Goodyear Airspace. She retired from Lockheed Martin where she worked in the print shop and mail room.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert G. Kendall; longtime partner, Paul Serdinak; daughter, Lorie Kendall; mother, Ruth and father, Boyd; and brother, John Herwick.

Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, John and Jean Kendall; and sister-in-law, Nancy Herwick.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 11 am until 12 noon, immediately followed by a funeral service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron 44305. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
