Dorothy C. Fischer

Dorothy C. Fischer (née Sieber) passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, at the age of 101.
A woman of deep faith, Dorothy lived her life devoted to God, drawing strength and comfort from her unwavering belief. She was a faithful and longtime parishioner of St. Maria Goretti Church in Runnemede, where her devotion, prayers, and quiet presence were a constant for many years. She will also be lovingly remembered for baking a cake every Saturday morning to bring to the 4:00 p.m. Mass, a simple but heartfelt act of service that reflected her generosity and faith.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert; her cherished daughter, Joanie; and her beloved son, Bobby. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters, Dottie (Ed), Kate (John), and Patty, who were a constant source of pride and joy throughout her life. She was a treasured grandmother to Jen, Nick, Kim, Johnny, Katie, and Danny, and a proud great-grandmother to Kimora, Mikey, Brenna, and Paulie.
She is also survived by her dear sister, Joan, as well as many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit.
Dorothy's life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and the enduring power of family. She touched generations with her warmth, wisdom, and grace. She will be deeply missed and forever held in her loved ones' hearts.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11a.m. at St. Maria Goretti RC Church, 321 Orchard Avenue, Runnemede. Funeral Mass will begin at 11a.m.
Interment is private at the request of the family.
