Aberdeen – Dorothy Cogan Frazier, 77, passed away peacefully, Wednesday January 14, 2026, at Adams County Manor in West Union.
Dorothy was born March 6, 1948, in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Ernest Cogan and the late Ethel Smith Cogan. She had worked at PCP Champion in Ripley and at Jockey International's Maysville plant. She loved going to church dinners at Aberdeen Main Cross Church where she was a member. Another joy of hers was going to flea markets to hunt for bargains.
Survivors include her children, Faron Allen of Maysville, KY, Michelle (Jeff) Hoop of West Union, OH, Michael Frazier of Aberdeen, OH; and grandchildren, Lauren Hoop and Blake Allen.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Harold Cogan.
Funeral services for Dorothy Frazier will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2026, at Brell & Son Funeral Home with Pastor David Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow in Charter Oak Cemetery, Aberdeen.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
