It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorothy Seago Geske, who left us on May 14, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on August 4, 1934, in Gilmer, TX, Dorothy touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth and kindness.
Dorothy married the love of her life, Howard Geske on April 9, 1955. She was a faithful member of White Oak Baptist Church for over 60 years. She spent her time working as a beautician, retiring at 83 after over 60 years of serving her community.
Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters, Cindy Steffey and husband Gary and Cristi Cannon and husband Michael; granddaughter, Paige Feldhauser and husband Jon; great-grandchildren, Maleigh Feldhauser, Bug Feldhauser, Cobin Feldhauser; great great-grandchild, Ivy Jetton; as well as many nieces and nephews. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Dorothy’s life at a graveside service that will take place on May 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer, Texas with a visitation just prior at 1:00PM at the cemetery. It will be a time to remember the wonderful memories and the love she brought into our lives.
Dorothy may no longer be with us, but her spirit will continue to inspire and embrace us. Her laughter and love will be deeply missed.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Louie and Lois Arnold Seago; her husband, Howard Geske; and her mother-in-law, Pernie Geske.
