I sat with Dorothy at the Methodist Church in Montgomery for the last year that she was at the church. She always seemed happy to see me when I would sit next to her, and she made me happy sitting next to her. She was such a bright light. She tried to talk to me and thought she was whispering, but the entire congregation could hear her, but I didn´t care. I just loved being in her presence. She would sing loud and sing directly to the Lord I could feel her love for the Lord and I wanted a piece of it. I´m glad to have known Dorothy for the short time that I did and she will always have a soft spot in my heart. May God bless her family with the blessings and memories that she´s left behind. I know I´ll see her again. Until then save me a seat Dorothy.
