Dear sister of the late Richard (late Carole) Komarewich.
Fond sister-in-law of the late Virginia (late Edward) Gawel and the late Steve (Fran) Kmiecik.
Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Special thank you to Dorothy's loving caregivers; Barbara, Sylwia, and Halina.
Faithful member of St. Michael Parish for over 50 years where she sang in the church choir. Dorothy loved her dogs and gardening. She baked delicious sweets and cooked traditional Polish meals, paired with an occasional glass of wine. But most of all, Dorothy loved her family more than anything else.
Memorial visitation Friday, November 22, 2024 9:00 a.m. until time of Prayers 10:45 a.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL to St. Michael Church, Mass 11:30 a.m.
Interment private at Resurrection Cemetery
In lieu of flowers donations to P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter, 8301 W. 191st Street, Tinley Park, IL 60487 or Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601 would be appreciated.
