Cherished brother of Dennis, Ret. CPD (Mary Ellen) Carroll, James, Ret. CPD (Cynthia, Ret. ATF) Carroll and Gerard, Ret. CPD (Susan) Carroll.
Fond brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and cousin.
Proud graduate of Little Flower Grade School, Leo High School and DePaul Law School.
Longtime Catholic Deacon at St. Walter, St. Benedict and St. Francis of Assisi Parishes.
Visitation Monday 3-8 p.m.
Funeral Tuesday 9:45 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mass 10:30 a.m.

My sincere condolences to the Carroll family. Dan was such a kind and caring person who brought joy to so many, especially during the holiday season when he stepped in for Santa and delivered holiday wishes to so many students. The kids were in awe of him and looked forward to seeing him each year.
Thank you, Santa, even though I never got my pony!
