Daniel L. Newquist, was born on May 31, 1932 and passed away on January 3, 2026.
Daniel was the beloved father of Elaine (Jerome Webb) and Daniel, grandfather of Nicholas (Erin) and Tyler (Shannon Stanley), brother of Jerome (Phyllis), predeceased by his beloved wife Carol (Ludwig), brother Walter, sister-in-law Dorothy, and brother David (Shirley).
Daniel was a graduate of Leo High School, St. Mary's College in Winona, MN, and DePaul University College of Law.
After working at Baker McKenzie where he met the love of his life, Carol, he served two years in the Army in Germany before returning to marry Carol in May, 1960. He became a vice president and managing editor at Commerce Clearing House. His best days were with family. When he lost Carol after 56 years of marriage a light went out of his life. He has finally found his way home to her.
