It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Beryl Rose Kochis announce her passing on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the age of 87. Dorothy passed peacefully surrounded by her daughters.
She is predeceased by her husband Paul J Kochis of 62 years, her mother and father, Humphrey George and Dorothy Rose and her brother George Rose.
She is survived by daughter Debbie Wagner, her husband George, granddaughter Melissa (Michael and children Madelyn, Michael and Aubrey) and grandson Justin. Daughter Linda Kunz, her husband Dave, granddaughter Heather (Justin) and great-grandson Jagger and grandsons Michael (Samantha), Matthew (Alicia), great-granddaughters, Savannah and Lydia and Jeffrey. Daughter Cheryl Cominsky, her husband Michael, grandsons Michael Jr and Matthew. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Pauline Rose, brother-in-law Richard and Barbara Kochis, sister-in-law, Elaine Kochis and nephews and nieces.
Dottie was born and raised in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England where she met, fell in love with and married her husband, Paul. Shortly after getting married, she moved to Paul's hometown of Trenton, NJ where they raised their three daughters. She was very active in SS Peter & Paul parish and TBPA (Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association) which kept her connected to her English heritage.
She loved spending time with her English girlfriends and traveling home to England as often as she could, loved vacationing in Florida and her time down the Jersey shore.
Everyone who knew Dorothy saw her as caring, kind and loving, a great mom to her daughters and their husbands and a wonderful nana to her grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to her funeral masses at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Viera, FL on Friday, March 21st at 11:00 am and at St Ann Catholic Church, Lawrenceville, NJ on Friday, March 28th at 10:00 am followed by Catholic burial at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. On July 13th there will be a celebration of life in her hometown of Great Yarmouth, England.

Dorothy (Nana Dot) as we affectionately called her, was a sweet, kind, and gentle, English lady.
When my youngest was a toddler, she always showed him love and was amazed at all his curls. All the kids referred to her as Nana because she was like everyone's grandma.
While we are saddened by her passing, we know, she is in heaven probably enjoying a proper cup of tea and a scone, at least that's the way I choose to think of her. RIP Dot. With Love, the Tubelli family
