Dorothy L. Lindley, age 98, a resident of Chillicothe, MO, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, in Chillicothe, MO. Dorothy was born the daughter of John Kohler and Dora (Beckerdite) Kohler on March 7, 1928, in Harrisonville, MO. Dorothy married Billy Jack Lindley on April 24, 1949, in Harrisonville, MO. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2017.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Randell of Kansas City, MO, and three sons, J. Scott Lindley (Deborah), Bruce Lindley (Susan) all of Chillicothe, MO and Timothy Lindley (Toni) of Kansas City, MO; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, MO on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 11 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to The First Christian Church, and may be left at or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
