Dorothy Hudson Lewis, age 80 of Newport, TN passed away on Tuesday afternoon on November 5, 2024 at her home following an extended illness. She was a loving mother and was a retired employee of Tennessee Handbags and LeSport Sac following many years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Etta (Ball) Hudson; daughter, Denise Lewis; and several siblings. Dorothy is survived by her children, Dewayne Lewis, Deann Gilliam, Derwin (Angela) Lewis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Sherman Hudson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The graveside service will be Friday, November 8, 2024 at 2:00pm at Union Cemetery in Newport, TN.
