Dorothy McBee Obituary
Dorothy was born September 10, 1933 in Ruston, LA to Mamie Martin Davis and Thomas Roland Davis, Sr. and she passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in Ruston, LA. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Choudrant. Dorothy was strong in her faith and her love for the Lord. She loved gospel music and would drive many miles to go to gospel singings. Everyone who knew or met Dorothy thought and said that she was so sweet.
Dorthy was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie and Thomas Davis, Sr.; brother, Thomas Roland "TR" Davis, Jr.; and her husband, Marvin Dean "Mac" McBee.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Dennis McBee and wife Camille, Debbie McBee Staples, and Danny McBee and wife Lynn; grandsons, Allen Brown and wife Jennifer, Jason McBee and wife Erin, Jacob McBee, and John Luke McBee; great grandson, Daniel Allen Brown; sister-in-law, Margaret Davis; nephew, Robert Davis and wife Amanda; niece, Donna Davis Sibley; and a host of other family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Brown, Jason McBee, Jacob McBee, and John Luke McBee.
