MURPHY, Dorothy R. (Sullivan)- Of Malden, October 9th. Devoted wife of the late Frederic E. Murphy. Beloved mother of Catherine A. DeMaggio and Thomas J. Monahan both of Malden, Donna M. Pineau of Rowley and the late John A. "Jackie" Monahan. Dear sister of Alice M. Gray of AZ, George Sullivan of FL and the late Edmund and Ronald Sullivan. Cherished grandmother of Joey, Krystina, Elizabeth, Kathryn, TJ, Scott and John. Also lovingly survived by 11 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Thursday, October 13th at 11 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Expressions of sympathy in Dorothy's name may be made to the VNA of Middlesex East Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880

I remember Dottie from many years ago when we were both raising our children. She was a lovely woman back then, and I'm sure going forward she remained the same. Dottie was a hard worker, and I'm sure that she was proud of the wonderful adults that she raised. I know that Dottie is with the Lord now. My condolences to her precious family!!
