Dorothy O'Hara, 83 of Interlaken died Friday, July 18 th at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was born in New York City and grew up in Yonker's.

Dottie was an Executive with AT&T, for many years before retiring. She had lived in Bronxville, NY as well as Flemington, NJ before settling in Interlaken in 2003. Dottie was an active parishioner and volunteer at St. Michael's RC Church, where she would assist in weekly mass as well as weddings and funerals. Dottie would coordinate all special events that would take place at the church and insured the success of each event. She was truly beloved and had an incredible dedication to her faith and was a friend to all she served.

She enjoyed cruises to Bermuda as well as a riverboat cruise to eastern Europe as well as many pilgrimages to Rome and Portugal with the church. She and her sister Barbara for many years would travel throughout Europe. Eventually she wanted to learn to ski, so she and Barbara began traveling Switzerland and Austria on ski trips. Dottie also enjoyed her trips to Ireland to visit with relatives.

Dottie enjoyed Downton Abbey, all animals especially her cats and her collection of St. Michael's Christmas ornaments.

She was predeceased by her parents, Emily Agnes and James Francis O'Hara and her brother Dennis Francis O'Harra.

Surviving is her sister, Barbara Bigalke of Aiken, SC.

Visitation, Thursday, July 24 th, 5 until 7 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, July 25 th, 9:30 am at St. Michael's RC Church. Entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
