Mrs. Dorothy J. Orr, 96, of Franklin Township passed away on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at Franciscan Manor.

Mrs. Orr was born in Ellwood City on April 26th, 1929 to the late Herbert M. and Ethel Mae (Brown) Rice. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1947. For three years she worked at the U.S. Steel Tube Mill. She was a member of the former Knox Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School teacher, Bible School instructor, and volunteered with the church Nursery School. She also served as the Judge of Elections for Franklin Township for 30 years. Dorothy also is a member of the Ellwood City and Harmony Historical Society's. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, and loved going fishing with her husband Bob in Canada.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Barsotti of North Sewickley Township., and her grandson, Jonathan and his wife Kate Bucci and their daughter Molly Grace Bucci of Franklin Township.

Mrs. Orr was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Robert Orr, Jr. whom she married on June 30th, 1950 and passed away on January 13th, 2013, and her son-in-law, Marlon S. "Molly" Barsotti.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at Noon at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev. R. Tod Custer officiating. Entombment will be at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Orr's name may be made to: Christ Presbyterian Church, 325 Spring Ave., Ellwood City, PA 16117.
