Dorothy Payne Ream, 81, passed away on October 19, 2020, from a tragic fall while playing with her g randchildren. She was born on August 19, 1939 in Darby , PA, a daughter of the late Paul Payne and Christine Sack Payne.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to everyone. She was a member of Wesley Chapel in Rock Hall, MD. She loved to travel and was a very active member in the c ommunity.
Mrs. Ream is survived by her husband, Raymond Charles Ream , of twenty eight years; brother, Robert P . Payne; sons, Russell Ashley, Glen P . Ashley, David Ream and Michael Ream; daught er, Nicole Wilkins; a number of g rand c hildren and g reat g rand ch ildren ; and other family and friends who will miss her.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Sheridan Funeral Home in Ken ts Store, VA , with a visitation held one hour prior from 10am – 11am.
Interment will follow at Mount Gilead Ba ptist Church Cemetery in Tabscott , V A . In lieu of flowers , memorials may be made to Wesley Chapel, 6065 Rock Hall Road , Rock Hall , MD 21661 or Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 4768 Shannon Hill Road, Columbia, VA 23038.
