Dorothy Ann Reger, age 100, Springfield, MO, passed away on November 8, 2025, at the Baptist Home in Ozark, MO. Dorothy was born March 12, 1925, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Ben and Celia Kubias. Dorothy met the love of her life James and were married in Cedar Rapids at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Dorothy and her husband James moved to Memphis in the early 1960's where they resided for 40 years. During her time in Memphis, she was a member at Germantown Presbyterian Church in Germantown, TN.
Dorothy was preceded in death by infant son, Dennis James Reger; husband, James F. Reger on May 11, 2004; grandson, Jonathon Michael Bendall; parents, Ben and Celia Kubias; two sisters, Francis McQuire, and Marian Fleming and their spouses.
She is survived by three daughters and their spouses, Nancy and Michael Bendall, Susan and Allen Maddox, Bonnie and Joe Farley; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Ben and Erica Bendall, Lara and Bobby Mobley, Jennifer Parks, Karen and Ken Wardle, Kim and Zach Fleming, Melanie and Royce Moore, Erin and Roy Wagner, and Abby and Sam Brown; and 16 great grandchildren.
The family will have a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either Guiding Eyes for the Blind, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
