Dorothy Delia Sharrow, 92, formerly of Birchwood Drive, Peru, died Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Plattsburgh, April 2, 1933, the daughter of Henry and Lillian (Barbell) Trost. Dorothy was a graduate of Plattsburgh High School.
She married Eugene Sharrow, July 16, 1955, at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. He predeceased her, September 7, 2019.
Dorothy worked at Georgia Pacific for many years, prior to retiring.
She enjoyed golfing, downhill skiing, and bowling.
Left to cherish the memory of Dorothy are, her son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Patty Sharrow of South Hero, Vermont; grandsons, Kevin and his wife, Jess Sharrow, and Adam and his wife, Elyssia Sharrow; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Carly, EJ, and Wyatt.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 11 am at St. Augustine's Church in Peru. Committal prayers and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
