Dorothy Marie Spencer, born September first, nineteen twenty-nine, passed away peacefully at ninety-six, known till the end for her sharp wit.
She spent her last five joyful years at Claiborne Assisted Living in Augusta, where she touched many lives.
Survived by sons John Charles (Chuck) Spencer and James Scott Spencer, and grandchildren Laci, Oscar, and Alice. Married to Billy K. Spencer for seventy-one years, she left a legacy in real estate, retiring in the nineties.
A private service for immediate family will be held. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s Hospital.
