Dorothy M. Thomas

Dorothy M. Thomas, age 91, of Port Huron, passed away on October 11, 2024. She was born on June 11, 1933, in Port Huron to the late Andrew and Gisella Zauner. She married Lawrence R. Thomas on October 18, 1952, Thomas passed away on January 28, 1978.
Dorothy was the sweetest, kindest, most loving gentle soul, she loved spending time with her family and family holidays, and was a devote Catholic. She was a huge Elvis fan! and she enjoyed riding her bicycle to visit friends, doing puzzle books, watching game shows, and Little House on the Prairie.
She is survived by her children, Geraldine Thomas, Walter Thomas and Bonnie Thomas, six grandchildren; David (Kay) Thomas, Louis, Sabrina and Andrew Hinojosa, Edwin and Joshua Sampson, seven great grandchildren; Madison, Niklas and Payton Thomas, Isabella and Eliana Arnold, Katelyn and Miles Hinojosa, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two children, Delbert R. Thomas and Deborah Galvan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00am in the Grace Episcopal Church - 1213 6th Street, Port Huron. The memorial visitation will be from 10:30am until time of service.
