Dorothy Townsend (nee Selander) passed away peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2022. She was 98.
Dorothy (Dot) grew up in West Berlin, NJ, and lived in West Deptford (Thorofare) for most of her adult life.
She was a strong-willed and hard-working woman. When she wasn't putting in hours at her manufacturing job, she was truly enjoying her life. Dot and her friends would go out dancing, bowling, skating, camping and spent time on the beach. She loved her pets, feeding the birds, horses and cooking. After retirement, she devoted her time to her granddaughters, family and friends.
She is the beloved mother of Kathy Kubach and stepmother to Craig Townsend and family; loving grandmother of her granddaughters Kristina Thomas (R.J.) and Kathleen Zablocki (Radoslaw); great grandmother to Emma and Alaina. Aunt to Barbara and Linda and sister to the late Ethel Winterstine (George).
Dorothy's services will be private.
