Dorothy Traweek Obituary

Dorothy passed away at her home in West Monroe on September 2, 2025. She was born in Brookhaven, Mississippi on January 28, 1947 to Sidney and Dora Ellis Clark. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Carlton Traweek, Sr.; parents, Sidney and Doris Clark; brothers, Riley Clark, Samuel Clark; and sisters, Billie Jean Spillman, Francis Trim, Mavis Horton and Sydnie Anderson.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Carlton Traweek, Jr. and wife Wendy, Michael Smalling and wife Beth; one daughter, Karla Traweek; three grandsons, Tommy Traweek, Trey Traweek and John Taylor Traweek; five granddaughters, Scotland Traweek, Adrianna Smalling, Jessica Hancock, Betsey Ortego and Allison Cage; six great-grandsons; six great-granddaughters; many nieces and nephews; along with other cherished family and friends.
Honoring Dorothy as pallbearers will be Mickey Traweek, Alan Traweek, Jason Traweek, Jamie Traweek, Brian Traweek and Tommy Traweek. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Traweek, Todd Traweek, Scott Traweek and Mike Smalling.
