Graveside services for Diana S. Barkley, 63, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Wilhite Cemetery, Point, Louisiana under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe. Bro. Steve Savell will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Diana was born on May 19, 1962 in Minden, Louisiana and passed away on August 24, 2025 In Monroe. Diana loved teaching and her students. She was beloved by everyone who knew her. Diana treated everyone with kindness and respect. She remained upbeat and positive throughout her treatments. Diana fought her illness bravely and with dignity. Diana adored her sons and treasured the time she spent with them. She enjoyed reading and playing games on her tablet. Diana especially loved her fur babies. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Diana was preceded in death by her daughter, Kayla Breland; parents, Martha Faye and Jiles Franklin Savell; and brother, Clint Savell.

Diana is survived by her loving husband, Walter Barkley; sons, Clint Breland and wife, Amy and Ethan Breland; siblings, Claude "Pete" Savell (Evelyn), Sammy A. Savell (Rheba) and Steve L. Savell (Darlene); along with other cherished family and friends.
