Tamara Case Barkley, 70, passed away on August 18, 2025. Born on July 6, 1955, Tamara lived a life filled with love, kindness, and adventure.

She was the daughter of the late Barbara Case and Thomas Richard Case. Tamara's love for the outdoors was unmatched-whether hiking through the mountains, relaxing by the ocean, or exploring nature's beauty, she found peace and joy in every landscape.

Tamara was a devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, John Barkley; her brother Rick Case, her sister by birth, Denise Jefferies, and her sister by choice, Kim McGee; her niece, Jennifer Hopper; and her sister-in-law, Karen Case. She is also remembered fondly by her in-laws Audrey Fogarty, Mark Jefferies, and Steve Barkley, along with many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew Shane Carland, and other beloved relatives.

Tamara's warmth, generosity, and beautiful soul touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered not only for her adventurous spirit but also for the countless ways she shared her love and light with others.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at West Cramerton Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Tamara's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
