Violet Averette Obituary

Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Averette, Sr. ;parents, Amos and Annie Jordan; brothers, Carl Jordan, J.C. Jordan, Wyans Jordan; and a sister, Florine McDaniel.
She is survived by her sons, Herman Averette, Jr. (Lauren), James Averette, and Johnny Averette (Paula). Also left to cherish her memory are seven grandchildren, Tammy, Christopher, Madison, Natalie, Toby, Shelly and Charrie; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; and extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the West Monroe Guest House for the years of loving care for our mother.
