Dorothy Averette Obituary
A native of Ewing, VA, she was the wife of the late Robert Swanson Averette and the daughter of Reuben Hoskins and Cordie Bell Hensley Hoskins, both deceased.
Survivors include four children, Sherrie Zornes and husband Kenneth of Mebane, Jerrie Averette of Graham, Robert Swanson Averette, Jr. of Snow Camp, and Jeff Averette and wife Candice of Mint Hill, NC; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be conducted at Graham Memorial Park on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Randy Haynes.
