Ronald Pate Crawford passed away peacefully Thursday, September 11,2025 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was the husband to Joyce Ann Fogleman Crawford, the son of the late G. LeRoy Crawford and Ruth Pate Crawford.

A native of Alamance County he graduated from Burlington High School in 1950 and was a member of the Boy Scouts. A veteran of the United States Air Force. He was stationed in NATO headquarters in France. After his discharge from service, he attended Embry Riddle Aviation School in Miami, Florida for two years. He returned to Burlington and attended Burlington Business School. Ronald worked in textiles. He worked at Burlington Industries for 25 years and retired. Continuing to work at Cortina Fabrics and retired at the age of 64. Ronald and Joyce were married at West Burlington Methodist Church on March 27, 1960, by her father, James U. Fogleman, and they were married for sixty-five years. A member of Providence Christian Church. He enjoyed outdoors fishing and traveling. He enjoyed taking cruises and working in his wood shop, yearly trips to get the best peaches at Johnson Peaches in Candor, NC. He always enjoyed spending time with his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Ann Fogleman Crawford, daughter, Ann Alderman and son-in-law John, son, David Crawford; grandchildren, Amanda Helbert and husband David, Jamie Crawford and Marin Alderman; great grandchildren, Connor Williams, Bailey Helbert, Paisley McAlister, Ensley McAlister; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, CD Crawford, William "Billy" Crawford, sister Frances Powell, and a special aunt, Beulah Pate.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 2:00pm at Historic Providence Church in Graham. The service will be officiated by Rev. Darryl R. Peebles. The family will receive friends at 1:00pm before the service. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
