Dorothy Helene Vierkant

Dorothy Helene Vierkant, 87, passed away quietly in her sleep after a lengthy illness, with her daughter, Theresa at her side on October 22, 2025. She was the cherished wife of the late Henry Vierkant. Dorothy is survived by her four daughters and two sons-in-law, Pamela French, Theresa Rose, her husband, Joseph, Charlene Harbison, her husband, Matthew, and Robin Webb. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Dorothy received dedicated care from Theresa and Joseph in their home during her final years. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Joseph E and Edna M. (Crocker) Peters. She was born in Massachusetts and moved to Florida in the early 1980's.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a wonderful mother. She will be remembered for her enjoyment of ice cream, the holidays, crocheting, baking, assembling puzzles, playing games, and sharing laughter. In her younger years at Cape Cod, she delighted in fishing, clamming, and swimming.

A celebration of Dorothy's life will take place at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services Belleview on Saturday, November 15, 2025, and all are welcome to attend.
