Dorothy Ward Obituary
Dorothy retired from Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. She loved spending time with her family and singing in the choir at Bush Street Church. Dorothy was an avid reader and loved to collect rocks of all size, shapes, and colors.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Barbara Graves; brother, Ronald Graves; first husband, Louis Powell; and second husband, Charles Ward.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Cassie (Mike) McCaffrey; son, Alan (Carrie) Powell; stepson, Kenneth Jonathan (Nicci) Ward; three stepdaughters, Tammy Ward, Jeannette (Ed) Cooke, and Kathleen Ward; grandchildren, Summer McCaffrey-Ironside, Quentin McCaffrey, Lilly Powell, Hunter Powell, Kristina Harris, Stephen Cooke, Abby Ward, Tommy Ward, Lexi Ward, Brianna Bhramayana; great-grandson, River McCaffrey-Ironside; brother, Douglas (Judy) Graves; and sister, Regina Smith.
A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Thursday, August 28th from 3:30pm until the service begins at 4:30pm. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, please donate to Gentiva Hospice.
