Dorothy Warren Obituary
Born Aug. 26, 1941, in New London, to the late John Owens and Else (Hogan) Morris, Dorothy graduated from New London High School in 1959 and attended the New London Business School, and later she attended Three Rivers College. Dorothy was employed as a bookkeeper for the Bureau of Business Practice in Waterford for many years and later on worked at Foxwoods Resort Casino in the payroll department.
Dorothy was a proud Coast Guard wife and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony "Tony" J. Warren; her son, Stephen Warren and his wife, Wendy; son, Michael Warren and wife, Joann (deceased); her sister, Kathleen Doyle of Waterford; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London.

Aunt Dottie, who always tried to feed me whenever I came to visit. She was one of the most thoughtful people I know. Though we are a few hours away, we always kept in touch; birthday and Christmas cards. I take peace and comfort knowing that she is in the arms of God and no longer suffering.
My sincere and deepest condolences to my Uncle Tony, my cousins Stephen and Michael. Much love and prayers to you all.
