Dorothy (Brosnihan) Welcom, 85, of Millbury passed away in her sleep at home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Francis Welcom, Jr. She also leaves her children, Mary Jo Bullett and her husband Tom, Michelle Angell, and John Welcom and his wife Merritt. Dorothy was the proud grandmother of Michael, Nicholas, Tommy, Cailin, Kristin, Morgan, John, Dale, Jake, Marlaux, and James and great-granddaughter Ariana. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Adeline (Boucher) Brosnihan and her son, Francis Welcom, III.
Dorothy grew up in Worcester and attended St. Stephen Catholic Schools. She held many jobs throughout her life, including working for many years at Sprague Electric before retiring. She loved to travel and enjoyed cruises, trips to Disney World, and the beach.
All services for Dorothy will be private and the family requests that flowers be omitted.
