Dorothy Wright Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes & Memorial Park on May 3, 2025.
Dorothy Elsie Wright passed from this world on April 29, 2025. She was always proud of being named after her paternal grandmother and will be laid to rest beside her parents and her namesake. She was a special person who expressed her unique style through artful creations, fashion, and colorful hairstyles. Her favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas, and she embraced her life with as much vigor as she could. She loved finding things and sharing with others the products of her inventive mind. She led a challenging life, full of strife and challenges, pain and heartbreak that led her away from her family but recently found her way back around to embrace family once more.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Wright, and her eldest brother Robert and his wife Gloria. Her younger siblings, Roland Wright, Ava Wright, and Don Wright remain behind. She is survived by her eldest son Jerry Sleeper and his wife Summer Sleeper, and her youngest son Michael McCullough. She also was mother to Lisa and Keith, children of her husbands, who she raised and loved like her own.
Dorothy's interment will be on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Paradise Cemetery, 980 Elliott Road, Paradise, California.
