Gary Hart Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes & Memorial Park on Jan. 15, 2026.
Gary J. Hart Jr, a beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away on January 5th, 2026 due to medical complications at the age of 56. He was born in Sacramento, CA on April 18,1969 where he lived all of his life.

In his youth, he enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family whether it was camping and crabbing at Lawson's Landing, four-wheeling and riding motorcycles at Cisco Grove, or spending many vacations at Lake of the Springs. He loved competing with his big sister in shooting, family games or playing little league where their Dad was an umpire (the baseball games against each other were really hard.)

After graduating from Foothill High School, Gary had a variety of jobs while he found his way. These included becoming a cook, working in construction and then landing in a role as a long haul truck driver where he spent a number of years driving across the country.

Ultimately, he decided to go back to school and earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in both Computer Technology and Networking Technology. Upon graduation, he worked at Radio Shack then soon after began a long career at Apple Inc. eventually earning the title of Senior Technical Advisor, where he successfully assisted co-workers and client's with their most challenging issues.

Gary was always a very giving, helpful and friendly person. He would go out of his way for anyone whether it was sharing fruit from his tree's, helping his neighbors or simply being present for a good conversation.

Gary's expertise with computers and Apple products made him very popular with friends and family who were in need. Over the years, he eagerly helped with I-phones, I-pads and basically any computer issues or questions that anyone had. He sincerely enjoyed teaching and sharing his expertise.

The biggest joy in his life was his two Siberian Huskies (Akira and Nikita). He and these beautiful dogs went on many adventures and spent the last 10 years together bringing him and them so much happiness.

He is survived by his mother, Frances, and his sister, Deanna.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Gary J. Hart. Sr.

Gary will be greatly missed by all of those that knew and loved him.
