Douglas "Doug" was born on August 21st 1954 in St. Louis Missouri. In his younger years, he joined the navy but Doug was well known for his occupation in mechanical work for more than a decade at places like Auto Zone and Eagles Auto. He will be remembered by co-workers who knew him well at Lockport in Three Rivers, MI.

He is survived by his sister Dianne Davis & brother Arthur James Davis, 2 children; his son Antonio "Tony" Davis and daughter Jasmine "Lynette" Davis; 10 grandchildren, a host of nieces & nephews, in-laws & close friends who loved him. Doug loved his music, with favorite artist noted as "Smokey Robinson". He occasionally enjoyed having a toast with his favorite whiskey Crown Royal and you could always "hear him before you saw him", driving fast while playing his music and a loud voice. Doug departed this life on September 8th, 2025 at RoseArbor Hospice in Kalamazoo with nurses quoting his last words " I lived good. I am ready to go." He is preceded in death by his Mother Arizella"Cleo" Davis, Sister Lynnette Davis and oldest daughter Shamonica Davis. He will be celebrated and truly missed.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Ray Funeral Services, 305 Rock River Ave., Three Rivers, MI 49093, 269-278-1515. There are no services scheduled at his time.

2 Timothy 4:6-8

"For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing".
