Douglas Mark Bent Jr., 50 of Nashua, NH died Monday April 22, 2024, at Southern NH Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.
Born November 11, 1973, in Nashua, NH he was the son of the late Douglas and Linda (Wheeler) Bent Sr.
Douglas attended Nashua Handicapped Center most of his life and graduated from Nashua High School.
He attended the Nashua Center for many years and enjoyed his time there with all his friends. He was also affiliated with Gateways Community Service. He loved balloons, the sound of motorcycles, especially ones with loud pipes. He enjoyed attending car shows with his family and weekends at Hudson Speedway.
Survivors include his loving sisters, Melissa Esquivel and Karen Esquivel, his longtime caregiver, Jordan Brassil and her husband, Kevin and their children Holden, Ryleigh and Teagan, his nieces and nephews: Kaylie, Larissa, Carlos, Noah, Alex and Ethan, as well as many aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
"Doug may have been disabled, but his love for everyone was not" he loved being out with people and riding in his van. He lived a fun and happy life despite his disabilities. He has an infectious smile and a giggle that made us all laugh. He loved listening to music and attending sporting events with Jordan and family. He will be missed beyond measure.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 5:00pm – 6:30pm at the Davis Funeral Home, 1Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Davis Funeral Home at 6:30 pm immediately following visitation. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A private burial will be held later at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Douglas' loving memory to Nashua Center, 18 Simon St., Nashua, NH 03060 or by visiting https://www.nashuacenter.org/.
