Douglas George Booth, of Glorieta, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home on August 19, 2025, at the age of 74.
He was born in London, England, and spent his early years in Europe before growing up in New York City. Doug built a successful career as an attorney in both Los Angeles, California, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Doug was also a passionate musician throughout his life, sharing his love of music with friends and family.
He was the son of John Booth (born John Erlanger) of Dobbs Ferry, New York, and Janet Marie Pomeroy of East Branch, New York, both of whom predeceased him.
Doug is survived by his wife, Ariëlle Verweij, of Glorieta, New Mexico.
A private celebration of his life was held in September. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Española Humane Society, one of Doug’s favorite charities.
