Douglas B. Hamilton, 79, died on Sunday, September 21, 2025 surrounded by family. He was the beloved husband of Mary B. (Webb) Hamilton, with whom he would have shared 40 years of marriage with on March 14th.
He was born in Concord, NH on April 9, 1946 and was a son of the late Florence (Boisvert) and Burton Hamilton. Douglas proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife Mary, Douglas is survived by his children, Kenneth Hamilton and wife, Naria, Thomas Hannafin and his wife, Leah, April Hamilton and Tara Davis; his grandchildren, Emma, Matthew and Aria; his sisters, Joyce Chasse and her husband, Bob, Barbara Novak and her husband, Paul; his sister-in-law, Doreen Bouvier and her partner, Steve; as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family would like to thank his hospice team, who took such wonderful care of him during his final days.
With respect to Douglas’ wishes, all services were held privately.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
