Douglas “Doug” James Hammon, age 59, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. He was born on October 3, 1966, in Orlando, Florida, to Ronald and Delores (Hill) Hammon. Doug worked as an architect in the construction industry, a career that reflected his creativity and problem-solving skills. He had a deep love for drawing and enjoyed racing, cars, motorcycles, fishing, and fixing things. Doug had been a resident of Sebring for many years. He is survived by his loving children, daughter Jamilyn Hammon-Woodruff of Sebring and son Dalton Hammon of Sebring, Florida; one sister, Lisa McNew; and one brother, Jerry Hammon. Jerilyn and Bill Stamps-Campbell, Arthur Woodruff and family, Katlyn Moody. A visitation and time of fellowship with family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.
