Jamie Lynn Hammon, 45, passed away on January 7, 2026. She was born on February 5, 1980, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and was raised in Morris, Oklahoma. Morris is where Jamie graduated high school and the community she proudly called home throughout her life.
From a young age, Jamie showed a deep love for hard work. While still in school, she raised and showed sheep-an activity that became one of her early passions and reflected her dedication, patience, and gentle nature. Jamie also found great joy in gardening, especially growing flowers. Among her favorites was the crape myrtle, which she loved for its beauty. Flowers being her favorite thing to grow were a pastime that brought her peace and happiness.
Jamie had a natural heart for caring for others, which led her to become a dental assistant. In this career, her compassion, kindness, and willingness to help others were evident every day. After the birth of her second son, Dylan, Jamie made the decision to stay home and devote herself fully to her family as a stay-at-home mother-a role she treasured deeply.
Family meant everything to Jamie. She loved spending time with her loved ones, especially during holidays, which she often celebrated at her mother's home. These gatherings with her husband, Martin, her sons Noah and Dylan, and extended family were moments she cherished most.
Jamie was loved and cherished by her family and friends. She was known as someone who would do anything for anyone-kind, selfless, and full of love. She was truly special to each person who knew her, and her absence leaves a deep void in many hearts.
Jamie is survived by her husband of 26 years, Martin Cain Hammon Jr.; her son Noah Hammon and wife Alicia; her son Dylan Hammon and fiancée Kayla; her mother, Julia Claborn; her sister, Christie Nelson; her nephew, Tyler Claborn; her grandchildren, Alaia Hammon and Lyla Hammon; and a host of friends, family, and loved ones.
Jamie Lynn Hammon will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held close in the hearts of those who loved her.
