Micky Hammon Obituary
Micky Hammon, a lifelong resident of Morgan County, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, surrounded by family, leaving a legacy of faith, service, and love for his family and community.
A faithful Christian, Micky was a devoted father and the loving husband of his late wife, Pam. Known for never meeting a stranger, he was loved by many for his kindness and welcoming spirit.
Micky worked as an electrical contractor and served four terms in the Alabama State House of Representatives, including serving as Majority Leader. He was proud to represent his district and serve the people of Alabama.
He loved the outdoors and spent many of his happiest moments hunting and fishing with his sons and daughter.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
