Douglas Kee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Feller & Clark Funeral Homes - Auburn on Feb. 23, 2026.
Douglas Duane Kee, 60 of Garrett, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Parkview DeKalb Hospital in Auburn.

Born on March 30, 1965 in Fort Wayne to Duane and Cora Anne (Parker) Kee, Doug was known for his funny and quirky nature, which brought not only joy and laughter to those around him, but an anticipation as to what he would come up with next.

Doug dedicated many years of his life to his career as a Master Electrician. During these years he worked all over the country and met lifelong friends. Beyond work, he was passionate about hockey, fishing and family, but most importantly his Grandson, Eli. Nothing brought more joy to Doug than him and Eli spending time together, whether it was fishing, watching Eli play hockey, dinking around the house or them conspiring their next prank.

Doug is survived by his wife, Sherri Kee of Garrett; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Jerry Rinehold; grandson, Eli Rinehold; mother, Cora Anne Kee and sister and brother-in-law, Tari and Kyle Kovets.

His presence in their lives will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Doug's memory.

Condolences may be sent to the family at fellerandclark.com and on our Facebook page at Feller and Clark Funeral Home.
