Douglas G. Miller

Douglas G. “Butch” Miller, age 82, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025.

Douglas was born on May 24, 1943, in Buffalo, New York, to the late William and Rita (Anzinger) Miller. As a young man, he attended the National Meat Cutting School in Toledo, Ohio, beginning a lifelong dedication to hard work and providing for his family.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rita Miller, his sister Jean Marshall (Miller) and Celine Fuentes (Miller) and by his beloved daughter, Donna Rowley and grandson Collin Thiel.

He is survived by his children: Richard (Cathy) Miller, Douglas (Yolanda) Miller, Jeffery (Carolina) Miller, and Dawn Thiel; along with his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, who brought him great pride and joy.

Douglas enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening, but above all, he treasured time spent with his family. He will be remembered for his steady presence, love for the outdoors, and devotion to those he cared about.

A service to celebrate Doug’s life will be held at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 16650 State Route 31, Holley, NY 14470, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.

Douglas G. Miller will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
