Douglas J. Pearce, 55, of Hazel Green, WI passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.
Doug was born on August 15, 1969 to David & Joyce (Schiffman) Pearce in Dubuque, IA. He was a graduate from Southwestern High School in 1987. He married Lisa Bennett on August 12, 1989 in Hazel Green, WI. Doug had a visionary talent with building and creating projects. Along with that strong work ethic, he later co-owned and operated Dream Builders with the late, Brett Runde. Doug enjoyed golfing, hunting, boating, NASCAR, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Doug is survived by 3 children: Clarrisa (Corey) Binger of Monroe, WI, Pyzer (Katie) Pearce of Cuba City, WI & Preston (Abbey Kraisinger) Pearce of Hazel Green, WI; mother of his children: Lisa Bennett of Hazel Green, WI; 2 grandchildren with one on the way in June: Grayden Binger & Kam Pearce; 5 siblings: David (Carol) Pearce, Dennis (Pam) Pearce, Deb (Gary) Kaiser, Donald (Linda) Pearce & Dean (Carol) Pearce; a sister-in-law, Pilar (Tracy Wiegal) Swift; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; Daniel Pearce, a grandchild, Baby Binger: and a niece, Maggie Pearce.
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Douglas J. Pearce Memorial Fund has been established.
