Douglas Powell Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Latoya Powell; children, Lisa Powell Brant, Kimberly Powell, Paula Powell Roberts, Neil Shields, Kristina Powell, Lorie Powell, and Caden Kibadeaux; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix Powell and Palestine Paul; siblings, Lawerence Powell, Sam Powell, Adell Hannah, Laverne Brenham, Mini Bell Powell, and Dorothy Powell.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., September 4, 2025 at Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., September 4, 2025 at Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Candace Henry will be officiating.
