Douglas Reed Obituary
Douglas dedicated many years to The Morrison-Knudsen Corporation in Boise Idaho as a locomotive engineer, where he retired, career that reflected his skill and commitment. He was a talented woodworker who took pride in making furniture and many other items for friends and family. ATV riding in the mountains and the Owyhee wilderness creating a legacy of memoires was another hobby he loved.
Douglas is survived by his devoted wife, Alice Reed; his children, Denise, Cindy, and Robert; his stepson, Aaron; and a large, loving family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in peace by his parents, Harold and Burnace; his sisters, Evalyn and Carol; his daughter, Debra; and his stepson, Calvin.
Douglas will be remembered for his craftsmanship, his love of adventure, and the life he built with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Alsup's Funeral Home in Nampa, Idaho.
