Douglas Renner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Inc. - Lansdale on May 11, 2024.
Douglas Steven Renner, 68, of North Wales passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
He was the loving husband of Donna Renner and they shared 41 years of marriage
together.
Born March 27, 1956 in Norristown, he was a son to the late Jack Renner and Doris
(Vincent) Hilgner.
His unwavering devotion to his family was evident in every aspect of his life. They were his priority, as they brought him immense joy and love. He has always been so proud of his two beautiful and loving daughters, and his life was made complete by the addition of his two adoring granddaughters. He lived to ensure their happiness. Second only to his family was his deep faith, which guided him through trials and triumphs. His commitment to his beliefs was a cornerstone of his character, providing him with strength and comfort throughout his journey.
Doug was also very athletic and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan enthusiast. He
enjoyed many sports, but especially football, baseball, hockey, and wrestling. He is a member of the North Penn High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Doug's legacy is one of love, loyalty, and faith, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a kind, gentle and fun man who fostered an amazing number of strong and long-term relationships over the years. For friends, family, or anyone in need, he would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was also an incredible and loving brother who was always there for his siblings
In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by his daughters, Mary Lynn Morasco
(Joshua) of Collegeville, Jessica Renner (Billy) of North Wales; his grandchildren,
Jianna, Sienna; his brothers, John Renner (Madalen) of Hatfield, Gary Renner (Eileen) of Green Lane; and his nieces and nephews, Kristen, Kirk, Aaron, Stephen and Ryan.
Relatives and friends may call between 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Thursday, May 23,
2024 at Faith Lutheran Church, 615 Cowpath Road, Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by
