Douglas Alan Robson, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother, cousin, and friend, passed away on December 29, 2024, leaving a legacy of love and fond memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Born on September 4, 1964, Doug was a vibrant spirit whose passion for life was evident in everything he did.
Doug's greatest joy came from his family, who meant the world to him. He was proudly married to his beloved wife, Kimberly Robson, for 42 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished moments. Doug was the proud father of six remarkable children: Douglas (Lauren), Derrick (Caley), Dustin (Ayron), Devin, Drake (Katie), Dalton (Brandy), and nephew, Tony Robson. His heart swelled with pride as a grandfather to 17 grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense happiness. Doug’s unwavering support and love for his family were the cornerstones of his life, and he embraced every opportunity to create lasting memories with them.
An avid sports enthusiast, Doug had a particular passion for golf, football, and baseball. His weekends often revolved around cheering for his favorite teams, especially the OSU Buckeyes, the Raiders, and the Cincinnati Reds. This zeal for sports was matched by his excitement for the holidays. Doug’s love for Halloween and Christmas was palpable, and his special breakfast on those festive mornings became a cherished tradition that his family will forever hold dear.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Shelly and Cindy, who shared countless adventures with him throughout their lives, and his two loyal furry companions, Rocky and Grizzly, who brought joy and companionship to his days.
Doug was preceded in death by his mother, Sandy Robson; father, Jack Robson; brother, Jack Robson Jr.; and mother-in-law, Kitty Taylor. Each of them left an indelible mark on his life, and their memories will continue to inspire his family.
